01
What is a homeopathic booster shot?
+
A homeopathic booster is a carefully prepared dilution of a natural substance, plant, mineral, or animal in origin, given as a quick injection. At Hygeia each remedy can be given intramuscularly, intravenously, or added onto an IV drip or push already on your plan. A booster on its own takes under 15 minutes.
02
How does homeopathy work?
+
Homeopathy dates to 18th-century Germany and rests on two principles that sit outside conventional pharmacology. The first, like cures like, holds that a substance producing certain symptoms in a healthy person can address those symptoms in someone unwell. The second, the law of minimum dose, holds that a lower dose carries greater effect. Two hundred years on, these remedies remain in wide use in integrative practice.
03
Which booster is right for me?
+
Engystol is the immune remedy, used around travel, winter, and the early signs of a viral illness. Traumeel and Zeel are the musculoskeletal pair, used for injury, joint stiffness, and chronic pain. Lymphomyosot supports lymphatic drainage when the system feels sluggish. Holly will point you to the right one on a free clarity call, and boosters are frequently combined with a drip.
04
How much do boosters cost?
+
A booster shot is $25, or $15 for VIP members, whether given on its own or added to an IV service. It is the least expensive thing on our menu and one of the most frequently added.
05
Are homeopathic boosters safe?
+
These remedies are well tolerated, have no known contraindications or interactions, and Engystol is suitable for long-term use and for children from age one. Lymphomyosot is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Holly reviews your history before any injection to confirm the remedy is appropriate for you.
06
Can I add a booster to an IV I already have booked?
+
Yes, and most clients do. Boosters are designed to be added to a drip or push rather than booked as a standalone visit, which is why several of our drip formulas already include Engystol, Traumeel, or Lymphomyosot in the bag.
